Structure and Features:
The percolation tank is composed of tank body, shower pipe, taper body, oval seal head (or flat cover), pneumatic residue discharging door and pneumatic operation bench etc. It has such characteristics as equal solvent distribution and convenient residue discharging etc.
Working Principle:
The percolation method is to add continuously leaching solvent into the rough powder of medicine material to make it filtrate the medicine powder, and then the leaching liquid will flow from the bottom outlet. During the percolation, after the solvent filters into the cell of medicine material and dissolves large amount of soluble matter, the concentration increases, and it will move downward after the density increases. The leaching solvent at the upper layer or the thin leaching liquid will exchange the position and produce good concentration difference to make the scattering carried out smoothly. Thus, the leaching effect is better than the dipping method, and the extraction will be comparatively complete. The operation time for separating the leaching liquid can also be saved.
